This week for Seriously Geeky Sunday it is time for the small screen to shine. The television has gone through many changes since it’s invention in 1926 and today I’m sharing my watching habits, favourite shows and what I’m currently watching with you. Join me as we talk about all things TV 🙂

The last set of questions for 2020 are also now available so head over to December’s Themes to see what’s in store for the end of the year!

  6. The whole point of Seriously Geeky Sundays is to have fun by expressing our geekiness and sharing it with each other. Sometimes people will say things you don’t agree with and that’s ok. The world would be a really dull place if we all acted the same way.

Small Screen Views

My answers for week #34

Seriously Geeky Sundays Week 34 - Do you watch much television?

Do you watch much television?

Maybe 😉 Hehe, yes just a bit! You can see which shows I’m watching at the moment, on and have completed over on my currently watching page. Since I’m in the UK we have different schedules to the US so it’s useful to have a page where everyone can see what season we’re currently on over here.

Seriously Geeky Sundays Week 34 - What genres do you like to watch?

What genres do you like to watch?

I primarily watch crime, supernatural and superhero shows now, but I’ll also happily watch fantasy, fiction, historical, and well anything apart from comedy. As I’ve said in the past I don’t tend to watch much comedy. You can browse my TV history over at my Trakt.tv profile.

Seriously Geeky Sundays Week 34 - What shows are you watching at the moment?

What shows are you watching at the moment?

I’m watching my current shows which are all crime ones at the moment (FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, Prodigal Son, SWAT, Take Two and : New Orleans) and I’m catching up on Batwoman and Swamp Thing. I also want to try to finish the I gave myself of finishing these TV shows by the end of the year.

Seriously Geeky Sundays Week 34 -Is there any TV shows that you like to rewatch?

Is there any TV shows that you like to rewatch?

I used to rewatch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed a lot, but that was back before streaming services existed and there was more choice to watch. Now the only one I really rewatch is Dwarf and that’s usually when Chris has it on. You can’t not watch Red Dwarf 🙂

Do you watch TV shows live or stream?

Primarily I stream as we have NowTV and other streaming services. The only time I’m likely to watch something live is at Christmas and that is usually the Doctor Who Christmas special. Having grown up needing to rush to the bathroom between advert breaks or remember to record things, I am very much delighted to be able to just watch things when I want to and hit pause whenever I need to. Live TV can happily stay in the past for me!

What TV shows are you looking forward to the most?

The first thing that popped into my head was the new show. I cannot wait for this! Superman & Lois too because the two actors playing them are so good in their roles. I love them. Generally any DC superhero show I am ready for! I recently heard a rumor about a Jason Todd Red Hood show and I am here for that. I’m also beyond excited for the upcoming Tamora Pierce and TV shows as they are two of my favorite authors.
