Hello everyone! I wanted to update everyone on repDISND and my plans for this year’s event. Compared to previous years, I am planning a smaller event. I’ve been struggling since the end of last summer with various things, and my planned hiatus ended up being taken up by switching to a new book review plugin. As mentioned in a previous post, I had over 300 reviews to convert, and I’m still doing it. The delay has been due to health flare-ups and real-life events, and trying to do a massive event on top of all this feels a bit silly. I’d just be pushing myself further behind.

I’ve decided to go ahead with the event, although in a smaller capacity. I will be focusing on posting for the event here on my blog rather than conducting interviews or seeking out guest posters. If anyone would like to guest post then you can contact me about it here.

repDISND is still a community event open to anyone who identifies as disabled and/or neurodivergent. Please do post your own content on your blog or social media accounts! I just do not have the energy this year to reach out and coordinate the event on a larger scale. I had hoped to put together a team to take the pressure off, unfortunately that still requires energy I do not have right now.
