Those of you who follow me on twitter may remember me announcing in May that I was going to dedicate June to blog tags as I never seem to get around to doing any of them. I realised that trying to cram as many blog tags as humanly possible into 4 weeks was going to be messy so I’ve extended it to cover July. So this June and July I’m playing Blog Tag!

So what is Blog Tag? Keep reading to find out 😉

The entire point of blog tags in themselves is to answer them on your blog and then tag other bloggers to complete the same tag. I wanted to find a fun way to engage with my audience and start to create content that was more tailor-made. With Blog Tag I’m reversing the normal tagging process; I’m asking you guys to help me choose what tags I complete!

I’m aiming to complete one a week so that’s a total of 9 tags over the course of two months.

You can suggest a tag that you’ve done, seen somewhere, or browse the blog tag pinboards belows to find one. Once you’ve got one comment on this post or tweet me with your suggestion!

Asking for suggestions didn’t quite work out so I went to plan B and started picking four tags from the pinboards above. I’ve then been putting them up for a vote on Twitter every four days and letting my readers decide which one I’ll do next. The Tag in second places gets another chance in the next poll.

There are a few tags that have been sitting in my draft folder for a while that I want to finish up. I’ll be kicking the Blog Tag game off with one of these and sporadically throwing in my choices when there’s a gap. Hopefully, some of them will match up with your choices dear readers!
