I’m taking a break from themed transmogs for a while and also doing something I’ve never done before; sets for classes! Usually I’m very careful to avoid sets that are limited to a particular class, however, after fiddling with the azerite sets for four weeks I need to have no restrictions at all. So first up is a druid transmog because I have been longing to make a set based around the gorgeous Mantle of the Haunted Forest and have been struggling to do so. They’re a very specific shade of dark teal, an almost black but not quite so you can’t put them with black chests either. The result of me playing about is the Haunted Grove Keeper set which mixes elements of the Druid tier 15 set, Vestments of the Haunted Forest, with the Garb of the Astral Warden heroic recolour set.

It’s quite a different set of colours for me, and I’m sure it won’t be to everyone’s liking, however, I think it’s the unique colouring that is what makes it a good set. The odd teal of the shoulders aligns with the dark green of the robe, and then there are hints of blue in the boots and belt to match the eerie blue lighting on the shoulders. I chose to go without a headpiece and cloak as the shoulders and robe really are the centrepieces of this set and I felt they would add too much clutter to the set.  The weapon is a simple green, Void-Warped Oshu’gun Spellstaff, with blue spooky leaves to continue the haunted forest theme.

About #TransmogTuesday

Every Tuesday is #TransmogTuesday, and I’ll be posting with a new creation. My main is a discipline priest called Kaelea, so I do tend to edge towards cloth transmogs more than anything else. The aim of this project is to push my own boundaries, to get creative and work on some themes and ideas I’d normally not consider. That means I’m open to suggestions!
