As it is National Tell a Fairytale Day and these authors do just that! There are some of my favourite fairytale books where authors have chosen to retell and reimagine classic fairytales or have a fairytale vibe.

Do you like fairytale retellings? I tend to like them more than the original fairytales themselves. I love seeing how authors recreate the fairytales we know and love in different worlds and eras. It’s a fascinating world building exercise.
