Hello everyone, it has been a while! The last time I posted a blog update was back in August, to announce a hiatus. Since then, I have been working to switch all my book reviews to a new plugin, the Ultimate Book Blogger. I’m happy to say that work is now complete! It does mean that links to book reviews have changed, and I’ve implemented a custom 404 page to redirect people to the new book review indexes.
There are a few changes to book reviews due to the plugin I’m using. As a result, I am not able to list book reviews by disability representation. While switching plugins, I overhauled my list of genres and categories, and part of this was to make it clearer what representation is present in each book. This included disabled and neurodivergent representation, and books are listed under a relevant sub-category with further details listed in the review:

One of the things I love about this new plugin is that it also comes with a searchable archive! I have quite a lot of reviews now, and there are a lot of genres and categories too, so if you’re looking for something specific or curious to see my 5-star ratings, that’s the best place to look!
The full list of indexes to browse my book reviews is:

I had also started to list books in the same series in the same review, and this plugin makes that so much easier. Every series has now been moved to a series review, with a table of contents at the top to help navigate.
At present, I am not accepting requests for book reviews. I have a huge backlog of reviews to write and plenty of books to review. I do not know when requests will be open again. If you’re curious about what books are on my TBR, I keep an updated list on Goodreads!
The Ultimate Book Blogger is a paid plugin, and if you’re able to help with the cost, I have a Ko-Fi account here.
