Geeking By in July, August & September

It has been another long gap between monthly updates and this time it’s been due to the hiatus I took. For those of you who missed that I had massive PC drama which wiped my entire PC and combined with my looming dissertation deadline, it was necessary to take a break. This is my no means the full list ofRead More →

5 Fandom Friday - Womances Redux

So, it turns out that I screwed up this Fandom 5 and as this weeks is a make-up one (aka do one you missed previously) I decided to redo this one. I didn’t realise womance was the equivalent of bromance and therefore pertained to friendship not actual romance. So here are my top 5 female friendships. Eve/Jaime Jaime: “It keeps me toned.” Eve: “So does kickboxing. And it’s a damned sight more practical too. Some guy jumps you in an alley, what are you going to do? Assume the lotus position?” I absolutely love this series of novels by Kelley Armstrong, but the one womanceRead More →
