Bloodseeking Juggernaut Warrior Transmog Set

This warrior set had to wait until today as I missed TT last week thanks to Storm Gareth raging through the UK. We got hit pretty hard with it here in Glasgow for several days and while I’ve become pretty accustomed to the crazy weather this one really played havoc with my nerves. The air pressure left me with a a few days of migraines 🙁 If only I could have sent this wonderful warrior after Storm Gareth! Echoing the warriors of our ancient history, the Bloodseeking Juggernaut set features mainly pvp items and the cloak from raid tier 21. I had immense trouble findingRead More →

Fire of Chi-Ji Transmog Set for a Monk

When I started making a set for a monk I automatically looked at the lighter coloured raid and pvp sets; something more zen. Realising that white and blue were overly used for monk transmogs, I decided to go for something a bit different! I absolutely loved some of the darker sets, so I chose a few items from raid and pvp tiers and started putting together a fiery set; set. With the tier 15 chest as a basis, I added elements of the warlords season 3 pvp set and finally the finishing touch; . Fire of Chi-Ji Head Shoulder / Chest / Hands / WaistRead More →

This set is based on one that I came up with for one of Wowhead’s hunter transmog contests. I liked it so much that I’m still wearing the one I created and decided to tidy it up for the hunter set in the class series. It has ended up being an Alliance hunter set, however, as one of the pieces is alliance specific (). I’ve not taken the time to find a horde equivalent but I’m sure you can find one that works; I always go through several possibilities when creating a set before deciding on a final one. My own hunter is wearing andRead More →

Dreadwake of the Ebon Blade Death Knight Transmog Set

When I think of a Death Knight I think blue. It isn’t because of their gleaming frozen eyes, or that one of their specs is frost. It’s because I’m reminded of my favourite expansion, the one that introduced them, Wrath of the Lich King. I’m sure there were plenty of players who got sick of the never-ending icy landscapes of Northrend, but for me I loved the blue, silver and purple shades employed by the art team to create a beautiful place that was juxtaposed by the horrific abominations of the Scourge. Anyway, enough of the poetry. There are plenty of blue hues to chooseRead More →

Lightsworn Paladin of the Val'kyr Transmog Set

So we’re having a Transmog Thursday this week! I had to push through for a deadline and ended up with several bust days afterwards thanks to my ME. As you can probably guess from the set name (set) it’s Paladin time and guess what? It wasn’t based on a set of shoulders! Rejoice! It was a helm this time, namely which I think is just gorgeous. I am not a big helm fan. I find most of them are big, ugly and as I play female characters they cut my hair off too. So it is highly unusual for me to pick a helm likeRead More →
